Welcome!
I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with extensive experience providing therapy and medication to adults of all ages. I provide non-judgmental care for clients who want to improve their mental health and wellbeing. I am oriented towards the harm-reduction model and feel it is important to meet each client where they are in their individual mental health and wellness journey.
My primary areas of interest are in trauma/PTSD, substance abuse, and in working with the LGBTQ+ community. My other areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, ADHD, and addiction, among many other mental health concerns. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am licensed to provide psychotherapy, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations.
My therapeutic approach is integrative with focuses on the psychodynamic, interpersonal, and existential models. I also incorporate aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) into my therapy sessions. All of the therapy that I conduct is trauma-informed. Additionally, I am an EMDR-trained therapist and offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) sessions to interested clients. I strive to provide an LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-racist, sex-positive, non-judgmental, open, honest environment for clients to express themselves.
